So for me, this book started a little slow. There was a lot of background information that we readers needed to know. Some of this info was found in previous books, but some was new. Then, when they got together, WOW!!

Alice was taken hostage by an MC. Stinger and his MC rescue her, but she has little memory. Stinger nurses her back to health. She is unsure of herself and leaves him without his knowledge, after she nurses him when his MC was poisoned. Stinger turns to drink to get over her. While Sting was a man-whore in previous books, he doesn't touch another woman from the moment he meets Alice.

Alice moves away and becomes a stripper. Sting gets info as to her whereabouts and comes to get her. She is not having an easy time of it. I really don't want to give away plot points here, but I will say the path to true love isn't smooth. Stinger proves himself to her time and time again and it's very clear he is fully committed to her. This book was deeply satisfying to me and I loved it. A lot of drama and turmoil, but it's all worth it. Highly recommend.

Waiting for the next Prairie Devils is my new official pastime. No, it's like torture because I can't get enough of these books, they're like a drug! Nicole Snow has me hooked to her series mostly because the novels are all standalone, they're just set in the same world and share some characters, so it's always keeping things fresh. "Bitter Kind of Love" is just as gritty as the last books and if anything the romance is even more intense and sexy. Following Alice and Stinger's relationship left me breathless.
I was a little surprised to learn there's a whole series of these. This book is a standalone and though it's the first I've read, I had no trouble following it without any prior knowledge of the backstory.

Okay, that sounded a little dry. THIS BOOK IS AWESOME. Better? I loved how real the characters felt, how strongly developed and fleshed out their world is and the intensity of the chemistry between them, and the hot scenes are just out of this world I strongly recommend this one and I'm grabbing all of the others.

I came to Nicole Snow's work through Love Scars, and now I'm a fan for life.
I've read several books bow by Nicole Snow and she's now on my shortlist of one-click authors. She always comes up with taunt, action-packed plots and sympathetic characters. This story is a continuation of her terrific Prairie Devils MC series, focused this time on Stinger and Alice. Stinger is the kind of deliciously hot alpha male that I've come to expect from this author and Alice is struggling with past events she can't remember. There are plenty of reasons for these two to stay apart, but the chemistry between them is just too strong for that.

Gritty, well-written and intensely passionate, this story will keep you glued to the pages right up until the end.
Another sweet and sexy story from Ms. Snow. Love the characters. A little suggestion in the mist of this praise. Please be careful with the narrative. The fast pace story sometimes omitted when the characters told each other their pasts, pasts which may help the readers appreciate how the main H/h better relate to each other. There were also times when the story's action became so fast paced that there were a lack of description about when they got weapons, changes in Arsenal, tended to wounds or when they dressed up to manage the next action scene. All in all still a worthwhile story. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
I have liked Stinger thru this whole series and was curious to see if he would quit screwing every slut in site and settle for one woman. Then Alice showed up on a MC raid where they found a dead body on a bed and this raven haired beauty locked in closet. STINGER lost his mind when he found her and became her protector from the get go. Alice wanted no part of the wild ways of the MC life and ran away from Stinger. But as fate would have it, he had to save her life again and the fireworks shot off from there. When Stinger and Alice finally hooked up, the steam was rising from the pages. STINGER went all primal on her and he knew Alice was going to be his old lady. Book had clashes with rival clubs, which only added to the gritty world of being in a MC.
ALICE & STINGER HAVE a long road back to each other after she decided to take the money BLAZE gave her to start a life somewhere. She still has issue's with her memory and although she has feelings for STINGER and appreciates all he's done for her she's to frightened of his world but life being what it is she finds herself out of money and desperate. Not a good thing to be after traveling into GRIZZLIES territory. She thinks she's just a paid stripper who makes her own choices, but soon finds out the GRIZZLIES think they own HER now and have plans to start useing her for whoreing and porn once the sweet scared virgin act stops making them so much money at the club. It's not an act though and now ALICE needs to get out of there. Unfortunately a Nomads MC has got word ALICE knows we're HER Dad's valuable route maps are for hauling weapons and they'll stop at nothing to get it. STINGER and ALICE end up back together and him and the club are forced to face off with these nasty Nomads the SLINGERS. love the awesome wedding at the end...
After going along on a weapons run gone wrong with her father, Alice lost her memory and was held captive by a ruthless MC, so when Stinger came in and rescued her, all she could think about was getting away from all the MCs, but it didn’t turn out quite as she imagined and Stinger was starting to look like the knight-in-shining-armor she’d left behind—little did she know he had no intention letting her stay gone. Alice is essentially an innocent wrapped up in all this by her father’s choice of employment, but she has a little sharpness to her a times and unbelievable strength of mind, and I found her very easy to relate to. Alice’s lack of sexual experience mixed with Stinger’s wealth of knowledge in that area was an interesting contrast, and though the sex scenes got a little long and numerous for me, there was definitely a strong connection between the characters, and that I liked. Roller next? Great series!
