I didn't like the main characters. They didn't seem to like each other, no real love felt. He lied the entire book. Yes there is club business where you just don't say what happened, then there is flat out lying. He did both mostly just lying. The time frame seem wonky. Ok book one was like eleven months since Crystal was in Rain's life. Crystal was in Raul's life, but he wants Intel from Rain, so he tells her to infiltrate. She does and while there gets with Rain. I am not entirely sure she is still with Raul or not. We do know at some point she leaves Rain for Raul, that was from book one. She is kicked out of Lagsturn's by Raul shortly after leaving with Raul. She ends up with Ethan as a living situation. Then about eleven months later she is sent out of town by Bantourus. Somehow while book one is happening Raul doesn't see Crystal nor her him because book two starts with him finding her and realizing she is alive. It is also about eleven months since they were together. Since we know they overlap her and Rain, then we know this is shortly after the first book. However she has been doing this job for sometime and Rain had Lilly. Sooo not sure how long book 2 is from book 1.

The inconsistencies, no real love, and confusing wring put this at 2 stars for me.

I have rated this book high as I have enjoyed the whole series by this writer. This is the last one but it tires up how these two characters fit into the workings of the previous books. I can only imagine that this is a tame version of how things would go down in a real MC club. I find this genre fascinating
I think this author has a great career ahead of her. Great effort, good writing. She just gave to many hints and I ended up guessing too early in the book what the plot was. Jumped to the last chapter ... and sure enough I had pretty much summed it up.

Just one of the authors books so I will probably check out another one but the same author.
I am a sucker for this culture and love the whole bad boy attitude.
This story is from the Lagsturns club. Total different direction of book #1, but just as deep.

This president goes in deep to protect women and his own woman. There's a lot of shaky emotions on her part but he is steady.
This was an awesome book! A definite re-read!! I ran for book #3 and am confident it will be just as good as 1 & 2!
Wants not to love about Aching to Exhale!! Raul & Crystal both amazing characters that have so many secrets. Raul is an MC Prez and is sexy, alpha and demanding. Crystal is one tough chickie. Kayn did a great job with Aching to Exhale. The chemistry between this couple comes alive on the pages. 5 stars!!
I loved it!

If you read book one, Breathing His Air, you learned what Raul Sanchez's true profession is. In this book, he takes on the Mexican mafia. Crystal Rose is back and totally redeems herself. We learn her background too. And, boy is it a surprise. The story was very intense with scenes where I found myself chewing my fingernails with anxiety because it was so well written. I felt like I was there, part of the story. I was scared and nervous at times about what could happen. The sex scenes, well, we'll just you imagine that until you read the book. All I can say is it's hot. I can't wait to read Debra Kayn's next book in this series.
I love reading Debra's books especially the ones with hot MC club men, Raul he's a possessive sort, "Crystal was his woman, and he'd kill anyone who took her from him." He also likes to lay down the law, "no more running around, doing your own thing, and trying to save your own a**. Your a** is mine. Only mine. You have to listen and when I say you're staying in, you stay in without question until I tell you otherwise." He loves smelling like his woman, to him there is no better scent, "I smell like you." He pushed her back down on the bed and kissed her. "My woman." He also has a temper, "you think?" Raul's mouth tightened. "I spill my guts, take care of you, eff you, and then I get woke up to find out you were going to skip out on me? What the hell?" Even when he's down he thinks about his woman, "it'll heal. Bullet went clear through." He sighed heavily. "Medication is kicking my a** right now or I'd take you on the couch and show you how much I need you." I thought the names Crystal and Raul were familiar and it wasn't until I saw two certain characters in the book that I realized what previous book they were both from. I'm glad Raul got his story I liked him in the other book.
I really like the first book, `Breathing His Air' by the same author, but I loved this one more. Tori, in the first book, is a bit kooky and fun loving, and Chrystal is the jealous adversary but let's face it she was the woman to hate. As this book starts we find out a whole lot more about what was happening with her in the first book.

Clearly a misunderstood woman, after being used by one MC Prez against another and banished from the club by the man she loves. I think we begin to understand her, but when that same man shows up to reclaim her things get exciting. I really wanted to hate Raul, even if he was supposed to be the good guy. His treatment of Chrystal was so wrong, and I'm not sure how she could still love him so blindly.

The mystery and danger surrounding these two characters, keeps the pages turning to the very end. The relationship and love story between them is fraught with secrets and hot sex. If I had anything negative to say, it would be that Chrystal's continual need to sacrifice herself for Raul is a bit over the top.

Will be looking for the next installment . . . if there is one.
