Continuing my journey into the world of Author S.J. West's Watcher Series, I'm now introduced to Caylin, Brand and Lilly from the first Watcher Trilogy oldest daughter. She's now a 17 year old teenager in love with her soul mate.

The story continues with the ease and transition of Author S.J. West style I've become amazed with and expectant of. All of the characters I come to love and adore, and even the ones I love to hate, are fully present as she brilliantly weaves the next phase of this journey.

You'll get to know Caylin and what a force to be reckoned with that not even she herself truly knows of herself yet. But I can truly say that I ravage this book in just the same way I ravaged the last 7.

I anticipate all that this series has to offer as I read this 2 book series that is setting the scene for the next set of books to continue this epic story. You still have the emotions and excitement you'll carry with you from the first two sets in this series, along with the drama and mystery that surrounds the story I have grown accustomed to.

It is a little slower pace than the last 7 books. But understandably so, because it's from the perspective of a teenage as her storyline blossoms and comes to maturity. I have truly discovered a precious gem!!!

I'm off to read the next book in this 2 book series, before I move on to the next parts of this continuing saga.....

I really enjoyed the first two series of Watcher books that dealt with Lily and Jess. I consumed them in a matter of days. I most liked Jess & Mason's story of the two major romances but became a huge fan of Malcolm. His inclusion in this series was one of the major reasons I enjoyed them. The love story between Caylin and Aiden seems overly juvenile and boring. I would have Stopped reading them if it wasn't for the fact that these books are gateways to the next series which features Malcolm. I didn't bother to read Aiden's Story as a result.
I've been waiting for months for this book and when I finally had it in my little hands, I finished it in record speed. Once again kudos to SJ West for an excellent job in relating Caylin's and Aiden's story. I loved the characters and their interactions with each other as well as with those from past books. Such a treat to continue to read about Malcolm (my absolute favorite angel!) Lilly, Brand, Tara, Mason, Jess and the vessels. I am once again anxious for the next installment and glad October is only a couple of months away so my wait won't be too long -). I highly recommend reading this book if you love The Watchers trilogy. SJ is a wonderful story teller who transports the reader into the lives of the characters and makes you feel like they are your friends too.
Just started Caylin's story last night. Finished it in 24 hours. I just couldn't put it down. This is a great read. I would highly recommend it to anyone. I love these series, if you haven't started reading. You need to start from the beginning. You will love them all. I never tell what is in the books I read. That is for you to find out. I hope you enjoy the books as much as I have. Thank you S.J. West, you are a great writer.
Caylin's Story was sweet, beautiful, mystical, hopeful, and more!! I don't think S.J. West can write a boring story.....every one I've read is amazing!! Every book I read by West seems to be over as soon as I begin them....and they aren't short stories, they're usually 400 pages give or take. They're just impossible to put down!

So, this book brings us back to a time when everyone is 17 again, dealing with protective parents, wanting to break free but still be with your family, and having trials and tribulations (as we all do) that young people have. Aiden is so sweet, and Caylin was a lot bolder then I would've expected. The book ended suddenly, but that's not an issue since the 2nd book is waiting for me to read.

I highly recommend this book, as well as The Watcher Trilogy & Chronicles. I also couldn't help myself, and while I'll be reading Devoted immediately, I've also begun to read Malcolm, book 1 of the Redemption series. Happy reading!!

Were do I start. Hmm well I have been a Hugh fan of s.j west for a every on time and I was not disappointed in this book or any of her others for that matter. I love know what the characters are up to and what kind of trouble they are facing and beating. Her books gives me hope that there is still good people out there but we are just hiding. I know they are just books but the power they have is amazing. Thank you for writing such powerful books and look forward to more
I totally enjoyed the first installment of Caylin's story, and the refreshing subject matter from the Watchers world of S.J. West.

Caylin is young here, but also kickass. She is likeable and a great example of a responsible teen.

Aiden is an imperfect hero who is easy to love. Fighting the battle to do what is right, rather than what is easy, is something I can relate to on occasion. His transformation is startling.

West does a great job writing this sweet, romantic, love story. I feel that the content is appropriate for readers no younger than 14.
Ah another element added to Watchers, Caylin and Aiden. I am in love with all the watchers, but Aiden is the one I would choose, if the choice were mine!
Their story starts another generation and it's one I was so excited for. All of our original cast is still involved, but Caylin is now the heroine. She is Lily's and Brand first born.
I hope that when you read my reviews it will prompt you to read this entire series. This has been an adventure for me a d luckily there is more to come.
